1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the standards governing appropriate use of the ParPilot.io enterprise partnership management platform and all related services. This policy applies to all users, including organization administrators, partner managers, sales teams, partners, and any other individuals accessing the platform.
2. Permitted Use
You may use ParPilot.io exclusively for:
- Managing legitimate partner relationships and ecosystems within your organization
- Onboarding, training, and certifying authorized business partners
- Registering and managing genuine sales opportunities and deals
- Distributing authorized marketing materials to partner organizations
- Managing legitimate incentive programs and commission structures
- Communicating and collaborating with authorized partner contacts
- Generating reports and analytics for internal business use
- API integrations with authorized enterprise software systems
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 Illegal Activities
- Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices
- Money laundering, financial fraud, or unauthorized payment processing
- Violating export control laws or economic sanctions
- Any activity that infringes intellectual property rights
3.2 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
- Probing, scanning, or testing platform vulnerabilities without authorization
- Introducing viruses, malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Conducting denial-of-service attacks or overloading platform infrastructure
- Bypassing or circumventing security measures or access controls
- Sharing credentials or allowing unauthorized users to access your account
3.3 Data Misuse
- Uploading or storing data without authorization from the data subjects
- Collecting personal information without appropriate consent
- Sharing partner or customer data with unauthorized third parties
- Using scraped or improperly obtained data within the platform
- Attempting to extract data through automated means without authorization
3.4 Harmful Content
- Uploading offensive, harassing, or discriminatory content
- Transmitting spam or unsolicited communications through the platform
- Defaming individuals or organizations
- Content that promotes violence or illegal activities
3.5 Platform Abuse
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the platform
- Creating derivative works from the platform without authorization
- Using the platform to develop a competing product
- Misrepresenting your identity, organization, or partner relationships
- Registering fraudulent deals or partnerships
4. Data Handling Responsibilities
As a platform administrator or user, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring all data uploaded complies with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Obtaining appropriate consent from individuals whose data you input
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date partner records
- Promptly removing data when legally required
- Implementing appropriate internal access controls for your organization's account
5. Resource Usage
You agree not to use an unreasonable amount of platform resources that would negatively impact other users' experience. This includes excessive API calls, bulk data uploads beyond reasonable business needs, or running automated processes that strain platform infrastructure.
6. Enforcement
ParPilot reserves the right to investigate violations of this AUP. Upon confirmed violation, ParPilot may:
- Issue a warning and require corrective action
- Temporarily suspend access to the platform
- Permanently terminate the account without refund
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Pursue legal remedies for damages caused by violations

8. Updates
This AUP may be updated periodically to address new threats or changes in platform capabilities. Continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
